Considered to be the best
All Hurricane models have removable air collars for ease and rapidity of maintenance as well as interchangeability with Durarib foam collars. These size ranges are available either with GRP or aluminum hulls. Models 560 and up have under deck fuel tanks. The 630 models and up can be fitted with the optional patented 40" or 50" diver door allowing easy access in and out of the boat for divers, for body retrieval or marine mammals. The Hurricanes depicted on these pages have been configured in so many different ways and for so many uses that it is impossible to list them here. Suffice to say that they are generally acclaimed by the best in the world to be the best in the world.
The ZH 380/472/540/560/590 Models
These small craft are offered to our customers who require special configuration at the factory. They are often the platforms for contracts that have special requirements not found in "off the shelf" small craft/ They have their place in our range for customers who specify heavy-duty removable air collars, even in these small sizes.
The ZH 630 and 633 Models
These models originated primarily as dual outboard Search and Rescue boats. In service with the USCG for over 20 years, they have constantly been updated. The 633 differs to the 630 due to its aluminum outboard bracket, which lengthens the interior useable space.
The ZH 733 and 760 Models
Our 7-meter boats have become the backbone of many small boat operator fleets. Originally conceived as a Marine Patrol boat, the GRP 733 has been procured in literally hundreds of different configurations. It has an aluminum outboard bracket, which contributes to its legendary performance. It has become standard equipment in various Coastguards in its SAR layout as well as a fast Commando carrier for up to 14 operators. The 760 is an aluminum hull variant which is configured as a RB-S (Response Boat-Small).
The ZH 850 and 920 Models
These aluminum hull RIBS are used for fast Commando boats as well as SAR. The 920 has been supplied to various special operations forces, especially fitted with dual divers doors. These boats have proven airdrop capability with their compressed air tanks and special fuel tanks. Radar arches, T-tops and self-righting frames are designed to fold down for loading into aircraft. They are regularly used with dual 300hp outboards.
